If you arrive from the North (PlayaNaranjo) :
Since the Ferry of playaNaranjo, you have to take a small route by car of about 9 km to go to Villa Bahia Gigante.
At the exit of the village, on the left, you will see an « impérial » panel announcing the soft drink "Erika".
Approximately 50 m later, of the right side, is a gate paint in yellow and the small road which rises to Villa Bahia Gigante. |

If you arrive from the South (Paquera) :
Since the ferry of Paquera, there is approximately 20 km to go to Bahia Gigante. Since the aerodrome of Tambor it’s necessary to drive 42 km to arrive at the village of Bahia Gigante.
In a descent before arriving at the village it’s necessary to localize on the left the yellow gate…(Follow the yellow panels) |

Roads on Nicoya Peninsula require 4-wheel drive and caution at all time, especially during and after rain. The hard–packed dirt road between Paquera and Naranjo has the reputation of being a bit bone-rattling, but major work is currently being done on it and it looks like paving might be coming in the near future…

In your arrival, you will be welcomed by Ida and Miguel, our caretakers. They shall give you keys and shall proceed to the inventory upon arrival and check out status at your departure.
They are living behind the house in a separate efficiency apartment.
They are discreet, very nice and can help you if you have a problem in the house.
Ida and Miguel only speak Spanish, a good way for you to begin to learn the rudiments of this language ! |
